Following on from a rather brutal attack by supporters of
the Syrian President (still killing his own as of 22/06/2012) the Aberdeen
Grammar School Former Pupils Hockey Club website as you knew and loved it has passed
into the pages of history. Unfortunately not a history backed up for the 5
years that it had been in existence and as such all that was good has gone.
Like the passing of an evil Middle East dictator we have the opportunity to
build a better world, or at the very least a better website. So all of you that
have little else do with your lives during another crap North East of Scotland
summer are invited to make suggestions as to the direction the website should
take.
For the lucky few that are borderline Autistic/lonely/budding web
designers there is the fantastic opportunity to design and manage a website
befitting of a club that has been in existence for 63 years longer than the not
so democratic Republic of Syria. If you have the inclination to help out or
know of some way of bringing down Assad for the crime of the century please get
in touch with your local MP, MSP, MEP, one of your three indirectly elected councillors
or the Captain of the team you played for last year or use the contact thing on the left hand side (hopefully it will work)
If you are new to Aberdeen
and looking for a hockey club to play for we have a number of teams available, Men’s,
ladies, youth at all level's. All that we ask at the moment is that you are in
no way associated with the website stealer extraordinary that is Bashar
al-Assad
