Aberdeen Grammar Hockey Club is looking for Sponsorship for the current 2008/09 season and forth coming 2009/2010 Season. This provides local businesses with the opportunity to support the club’s continued ambition to develop youth hockey and improve the standard of Scottish hockey, while benefiting from the increased profile that results from being associated with such a large and established sports club. The Hockey club is one of the oldest and largest clubs in the North East of Scotland with 5 men’s teams, 3 women’s teams and 3 youth teams playing in both Indoor and Outdoor competitions at National, Regional and District level. The Aberdeen Grammar School Former Pupils (AGSFP or Aberdeen Grammar) Hockey club is also committed to youth hockey development with its members providing the Grammar school pupils & kids from around Aberdeen with coaching and support at fixtures, and this hard work has recently been rewarded with the men’s Under 18 side reaching the Scottish plate cup final. The club is suggesting a number of sponsorship options at different prices: Option | Cost | 1. Sponsor incorporated on Club’s strips or training gear (120 shirts or jackets), which are used at adult and school fixtures across Aberdeen & Scotland. (2 year deal min) | £5000 | 2. Incorporate the sponsor in the club name, E.g. ‘Company AG Hockey’, which would mean sponsor's would see there company advertised nationally as our adult & Under 18's teams play across Aberdeen & Scotland. Our club is also mention by name in newspapers, websites, radio, etc. (Per annum) | £1500 | 3. Pitch side banner displayed at home matches at Rubislaw visible to players, public and passing cars. Sponsors can also be featured on the club website, with links to their home pages. Through sponsorship your Company will benefit from: - Increased Profile - A significant proportion of our 120 members either work or have parents who work in Aberdeen’s business community. Being associated with a community organisation will improve your reputation. Our Website is visited between 2500-3500 times a week, also increasing a companies profile.
- Advertising – Branding on team strips, pitch side banners, or even within the Club name will ensure your Company name is seen by over 70 teams that we play against at Local and National level.
- Press coverage – The hockey section receives twice weekly newspaper coverage in both the Aberdeen ‘Press & Journal’ and ‘Evening Express’ and National coverage in the ‘Scotsman’ and ‘Herald’
- Tax Deductible - Contributions made to community sports clubs are tax deductible
